Undergraduate Scholarships

NAT’17 aims to include scientists at many stages of expertise—specifically students who are currently working on their bachelor’s or master’s degree. Therefore, 12 scholarships are granted by Zander Laboratories to undergraduate students. The scholarship waives the registration fee for the conference and provides a one-year free membership of the Society for Neuroadaptive Technology (SNAT). In addition, the supported students are invited to present their concepts and ideas about Neuroadaptive Technology in a special poster session.

How to apply?
Any student (currently in a bachelor’s or master’s program or equivalent) can apply for the scholarship. To apply, please note the following points.

  • The applicant is currently in a master’s or bachelor’s program or equivalent.
  • An application needs to be sent no later than 23rd of June by e-mail to n...@ipa.tu-berlin.de including: a brief motivation, a full CV, a concept (see next point), and a statement whether or not the student is willing to present a poster in the special session.
  • The above-mentioned concept briefly describes an idea of how Neurodaptive Technology could have an impact on our societies within the next 20 years. This concept should not be longer than 2 pages (DIN A4, 11 points, Times New Roman, standard margins).
  • Applicants will be informed no later than 30th of June about the acceptance of their application.
